EFFECT OF E-PROCUREMENT IMPLEMENTATION TO ENHANCEMENT OF APPARATUS PERFORMANCE IN MALAKA DISTRICT

Abstract

Application of information technology in digital era, especially in government organizations
is expected to improve effectiveness and efficiency of apparatus performance. E-procurement system
is considered as information technology media that bridges efforts to shape good governance. Malaka
Regency as a district development process in various aspects, use of this system is expected to be able
to improve quality of state civil apparatus (ASN) performance. This study aims to analyze
relationship and effect of implementation e-procurement on ASN performance in Malaka District.
Correlation analysis and regretion analysis is used to see relationship and effect of e-procurement on
ASN performance in Malaka District. Sample in this study amounted to 40 people who were taken
using Nonprobability Sampling method. Results show a significant relationship between eprocurement and ASN performance in Malaka District. Availability technology is an important
indicator of implementation E-procurement. Furthemore, e-procurement variable has a significant and
positive effect on ASN performance in Malaka District. Increase in implementation of E-procurement
will encourage ASN performance in Malaka District. Government should increase acceleration
implementation of electronic procurement systems especially in Malaka District.
