Abstract

Sumur gali adalah salah satu sarana air bersih yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kualitas air sumur gali berdasarkan parameter TDS, NO3--N, NH3--N, PO4--P dan E.coli serta status kualitas air sumur gali di Desa Netemnanu Selatan Kecamatan Amfoang Timur Kabupaten Kupang. Penentuan lokasi sampling air pada lima sumur gali ditentukan dengan metode Purposive sampling sedangkan pengambilan sampel dilakukan teknik grab sampling. Pengukuran TDS dengan menggunakan alat TDS meter, kadar NO3--N, NH3--N, PO4--P menggunakan metode spektrofotometer Uv-Vis, sedangkan kandungan E.coli ditentukan menggunakan metode MPN. Data hasil analisis dibandingkan dengan baku mutu sesuai dengan Permenkes Tahun 2017, sedangkan status kualitas air di analisis menggunakan metode Indeks Kualitas Air Modifikasi Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air sumur gali berada dalam kondisi memenuhi baku mutu hingga cemar sedang dengan Indeks Kualitas Air berkisar 54,38 - 65,65 dan cemar baik 80,47 – 84,36. Parameter-parameter yang menyebabkan kualitas indeks sedang adalah NH3--N, PO4--P dan E.coli berada di titik sampel TPS 1-TPS 3 dan cemar baik adalah TDS dan NO3--N berada di titik sampel TPS 4 dan TPS 5.

Abstract

Dug wells are one of the clean water facilities used by the community to meet the needs of clean water. This study aims to determine the water quality of dug wells based on the parameters of TDS, NO3--N, NH3--N, PO4--P and E.coli as well as the quality status of dug well water in South Netemnanu Village, East Amfoang District, Kupang Regency. Determination of the location of water sampling in the five dug wells was determined by the purposive sampling method while the sampling was carried out by the grab sampling technique. Measurement of TDS using a TDS meter, levels of NO3--N, NH3--N, PO4--P using the Uv-Vis spectrophotometer method, while the content of E.coli was determined using the MPN method. The data from the analysis are compared with the quality standards in accordance with the 2017 Minister of Health Regulation, while the status of water quality is analyzed using the Indonesian Modified Water Quality Index method. The results showed that the quality of the dug well water was in a condition that met the quality standard to moderately polluted with a Water Quality Index ranging from 54.38 to 65.65 and well polluted 80.47 to 84.36. The parameters that caused the quality index to be moderate were NH3--N, PO4--P and E.coli located at the sample points of TPS 1-TPS 3 and the polluted ones were TDS and NO3--N at the sample points of TPS 4 and TPS 5.
