DESKRIPSI KETERLAKSANAAN PRAKTIKUM KIMIA DI LABORATORIUM PENDIDIKAN KIMIA FKIP UNDANA

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan praktikum kimia dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan praktikum di Laboratorium Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Nusa Cendanadi masa yang akan datang. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Semester 6 Angkatan 2017 sebanyak 87 mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti seluruh mata kuliah praktikum kimia.Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan angket.Instrumen angket terdiri atas 44 item dengan skala guttman. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ratarata persentase tanggapan praktikan dan asisten terhadap keterlaksanaan praktikum kimia. Tanggapan praktikan untuk indikator:1) pelaksanaan praktikum sebesar 64,10% (cukup), 2) peran dan efektivitas bimbingan instruktur 67,83% (cukup efektif), 3) peran asisten 94,55% (sangat baik), 4) kondisi peralatan dan ketersediaan bahan selama praktikum 71,28% (baik), 5) peran laboran 89,92% (sangat baik), dan 6) buku penuntun praktikum 89,44% (sangat baik). Sedangkan tanggapan asisten untuk indikator: 1) peran instruktur selama pelaksanaan praktikum sebesar 77,44% (baik), kondisi alat-alat dan bahan praktikum 83,35% (sangat baik), dan kendala yang dihadapi asisten dalam pelaksanaan praktikum 64,13% (cukup). Secara keseluruhan rerata persentase keterlaksanaan praktikum kimia di Laboratorium Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIPUndana sebesar 78,00% dengan kategori baik.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the implementation of the chemistry practicum in an effort to improve the quality of the practical implementation at the Chemical Education Laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Nusa Cendana in the future. The research sample was 87 students of the 6th Semester Chemical Education Study Program Class of 2017 who had taken all chemistry practicum courses. The sample selection used purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The questionnaire instrument consisted of 44 items with a Guttman scale. The results of the study obtained an average percentage of the response of the practitioner and assistant to the implementation of the chemistry practicum. Practitioners' responses to indicators: 1) practicum implementation of 64.10% (enough), 2) role and effectiveness of instructor guidance 67.83% (quite effective), 3) assistant role 94.55% (very good), 4) conditions equipment and availability of materials during practicum 71.28% (good), 5) role of laboratory assistants 89.92% (very good), and 6) practical guidebook 89.44% (very good). While the assistant responses to indicators: 1) the role of the instructor during the implementation of the practicum was 77.44% (good), the condition of the tools and materials for the practicum was 83.35% (very good), and the obstacles faced by the
assistant in implementing the practicum were 64.13% (enough). Overall, the average percentage of the implementation of the chemistry practicum in the Laboratory of Chemistry Education Study
Program, FKIP Undana was 78.00% with a good category.
