ANALISIS GEOMETRI LERENG TAMBANG BATUBARA PIT 303 DI PT. JEMBAYAN MUARABARA, DESA SEPARI, KECAMATAN TENGGARONG SEBERANG, KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA, PROPINSI KALIMANTAN TIMUR

ABSTRACT
This research maded at highwall pit slope 303 PT. Jembayan Muarabara in the Separi Village, Tenggarong Seberang District, Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan Province. The problem that happened that is unknown the characteristic of material and geometric design model at Pit 303 that suitable with company instruction.
Research method used that is indirect method just to do and take the data of company such as rainfall data, properties material data that is compressive strength of rock, unit weight and geotechnical drilling data. Based on analysis produce maded three section that is A-A’,B-B’ and C-C’using helping software Slide 6.0 with Fellinius Method. The analysis uses design slope PT.JMB of software Slide 6.0 for section A-A’ has a safety factor value ≥ 1.2 is safe, but for section B-B’and C-C’ obtained safety factor value ≤ 1.2 is the slope in an unsafe condition. Seeing this was done it is necessary to prevent and control the slope did not avalanche.
Landslide prevention recommendations is redesigning the geometry of the slope by changing the geometry for overall slope 440, single slope 600 bench width 6 m, bench height 15 m and wide bench width after 45 m of height is 10 m. From the results of using the software Slide 6.0 running for every section safety factor value obtained after redesigning the geometry of the slope is ≥1.2 so that the geometry of the recommended slope declared safe.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada lereng highwall pit 303 PT. Jembayan Muarabara, Desa Separi, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu belum diketahui karakteristik material dan model rancangan geometri lereng pada pit 303 yang sesuai dengan penetapan perusahaan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode tidak langsung yaitu hanya melakukan pengambilan data perusahaan berupa berupa data curah hujan, data properties material yaitu hasil uji kuat tekan, unit weight (γ) dan hasil pemboran geotek.Berdasarkan hasil analisis dibuat tiga penampang sayatan yaitu A-A’, B-B’ dan C-C’ menggunakan bantuan software slide 6.0 dengan metode fellinius. Hasil analisis menggunakan software slide 6.0 untuk penampang A-A’ design PT.JMB mempunyai nilai FK ≥ 1,2 aman tetapi pada penampang B-B’ dan C-C’ didapatkan nilai FK ≤ 1,2 yaitu lereng dalam kondisi tidak aman. Melihat hal tersebut perlu dilakukan pencegahan dan penanggulangan agar lereng tidak longsor.
Rekomendasi pencegahan longsor yaitu redesain geometri lereng menggunakan kemiringan lereng pit keseluruhan (overall slope) 440 , lereng tunggal (single slope) 600, lebar bench 6 m, tinggi bench 15 m, dan lebar bench setelah ketinggian 45 m adalah 10 m. Dari hasil running menggunakan software slide 6.0 nilai FK lereng yang didapat setelah redesain geometri lereng yaitu ≥ 1,2 sehingga rekomendasi dinyatakan aman.
