Abstract

Assertive behavior is an action that is in accordance with conscience, in accordance with the desires and opinions that exist within humans. This assertive behavior is one of the basic life skills and needs to be owned by individuals, especially students. The purpose of this research is to find out and examine several previous studies related to brainstorming techniques in group guidance in an effort to increase students' assertive behavior. This research is a qualitative research with the type or method of Systematic Literature Review. The Systematic Literature Review method is a research method by collecting, analyzing and making conclusions from several previous studies that are relevant and in accordance with the topic under study. Sources of data in this study were obtained from various relevant literature such as books, journals, articles, previous studies related to the research topic. The data collection technique of this research is to collect articles, scientific journals and books with predetermined keywords. The result of this study is that group counseling services using brainstorming techniques have the effectiveness of increasing the ability to behave assertively in students. In an effort to help improve student assertive behavior, it is hoped that the implementation of services will be carried out as well as possible in accordance with the procedures and initial design so that the results obtained are in accordance with what is expected from the first design of the services to be provided to students.
