Abstract

This study explores the dimensions of power in public policy, highlighting how power influences
the process of policy design, implementation, and evaluation. Through theoretical analysis and
literature review, this study shows that power is not only formally distributed through
government structures, but also through informal networks, economic influence, and social
forces. The dimensions of power include legitimacy, authority, and influence held by various
actors, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. The
research also identifies that inequality in the distribution of power can lead to inequities in
policy-making, affecting the effectiveness and fairness of policy implementation. The conclusion
of this study emphasizes the importance of understanding and managing power dynamics to
create inclusive and equitable public policies
