The Proceedings of the Cendana International Conference on Social and Political Science 2024, held by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Nusa Cendana, focus on "Global Knowledge Production from the Southern Region in Social Science". Public Sector Reform and Innovation Toward the World-Class Bureaucracy in 2045.
Held in 2023, the Cendana International Conference of Public Administration (CICPA) is part of the commitment of the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University, to become a trusted and leading center for studying public administration science. At this event, CICPA raised the theme “State of The Art Of Public Administration: Public Sector Reform And Innovation Toward The World-Class Bureaucracy In 2045’.” We selected this theme to bring together scholars, bureaucrats, and professionals worldwide to explore and exchange ideas about how public sector reform and innovation practices should be carried out to achieve a world-class bureaucracy in Indonesia in 2045. It is crucial because governments in various countries, including Indonesia, strive to improve the quality of the bureaucracy towards world-class through a public sector reform and innovation agenda. World-class bureaucracy is a goal that must be pursued because it directly influences quality public services, efficient resource management, and a country’s competitiveness on the international stage.
